Description:

We are seeking to determine the role that astrocytic mitochondria play in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). To do so, we are using an adeno-associated virus (AAV) to to functionally ablate astrocytic mitochondria in the mouse Hippocampus, the brain region relevant to AD. |
