Graduate Student Well-Being
Mental illness represents a growing concern in graduate education. Texas A&M offers many resources to support graduate student well-being including Counseling and Psychological Services, the Graduate Ombuds Officer and the Offices of the Dean of Student Life. The Graduate and Professional School is pleased to announce that Dr. Esther Wright, a counselor specially-trained in graduate student issues and concerns, will have an office in Nagle Hall, which is also home to the Grad School. CAPS is adjusting their appointment portal system so that only graduate and professional students can schedule with Dr. Wright at https://tamucapsportal.pointnclick.com. In the meantime, graduate and professional students may make appointments with Dr. Wright by emailing gradschoolcounselor@caps.tamu.edu.
