Team Needs:
Students will examine the challenges in communicating relevant information about a healthy lifestyle and wellness to college students at Texas A&M University. Plan to collect preliminary data and design a community intervention tool that will culminate in a mobile application. The participation of students in our research will only benefit the learning environment of our university and does not intend to exploit any personal information gathered from the survey and focus group participants
Description:
This project will investigate the sexual health of undergraduate students at Texas A&M University. This will help us gain a better understanding of the gaps in sexual health knowledge within this population, and thus provide insight on strategies to better reach the students who are putting their health at risk. The overall goal is to provide relevant data that can be used to create useful and accurate intervention tools in hopes of improving the overall health of Texas A&M students.
This is a subsection of a larger project that intends to create a mobile application for Texas A&M undergraduate students. The goal of the app is to provide a starting point for students concerned about their sexual health, mental health, preventative health, nutrition, and academic wellness
