Team Needs:

This is a System Research project. It’s critical that students are comfortable with intermediate C++. Students are recommended to explore Peregrine’s code at https://github.com/pdclab/peregrine before applying. Past experience has shown that students who could not maneuver the code base often get overwhelmed and quickly withdraw from the research. Students will need to read academic papers and do further literature research on graph mining. Students should commit at least 10hrs per week |
Description | This project first leverages state-of-the-art graph mining system such as Peregrine on real graph originated from cybersecurity and cloud computing to empirically generate insightful and actionable knowledge. Then, based on the result, we will develop runtime supports and optimizations in order to improve performance and scalability |
