Affiliations: Aggie Research Mentoring Program
Project Leader: Simran Kumar
simrank1202@tamu.edu
Biomedical Sciences
Faculty Mentor: Luke Lyons, Ph.D.
Meeting Times:
TBA
Team Size:
3
Open Spots: 0
Special Opportunities:
Attending research conferences, presenting research posters, a possibility to have a publication and becoming a full member of the research group
Team Needs:
Information gathering skills, determination and ambition, reading comprehension, know how to analyze data and articles, be willing to read articles and discuss finding, average mathematical skills, proficiency in MS Office or other computer programs, getting along with team members, critical-thinking skills, being kind and helpful to others
Description:
The purpose of this research is to simplify the cardiovascular system dynamics that are extensively explained in various forms of literature through the creation of a computer-based mathematical model. Therefore, students can analyze and communicate the complexities of the heart and blood flow within the body.
