Description:
|
This project consists of examining the effects of organizational climate on the quality of hazard mitigation plans. Team members will utilize established plan assessment methodologies to code, or rate, hazard mitigation plans. In addition to plan quality assessment, data on organizational climate gathered from semi-structured interviews will be used to understand the linkage between organizational climate and plan quality. Organizational climate includes team leader communication, team member coordination, team member role clarity, among others. Team members will assist with the conduct and transcription of these interviews. Deductive coding will be utilized to analyze the interview transcripts.
