Description:
|
Using a novel mouse model, we will be investigating the roles that genetic diversity plays in binge drinking, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs), and how paternal alcohol consumption alone can lead to offspring development of FASD characteristics. We will also be comparing the biological response to alcohol consumption between a genetically diverse mouse strain and a common inbred strain. Our goal is to utilize this information in public outreach to help prevent future occurrences of FASDs. |
