Spring 2024: Echos of Exclusion: Identifying the causes of Americans’ non-belonging

Special Opportunities:
Students interested in the consequences of racial inequality and how Americans approach political engagement will be especially interested in this project.
Team Needs:
RAs will code district-level electoral wins and losses to start, but tasks will develop along with the research project. A basic knowledge of statistical programs like R or STATA will be helpful.
Description This projects investigates how signals from politics (e.g., elite communication, election results, enforcement of policies, etc) can decrease a sense of belonging in the nation for historically marginalized groups.
