Description:
|
This project is included within a larger NSF grant entitled “Teams for Creating Opportunities for Revolutionizing the Preparation of Students”, which is focused on shifting the teaching culture of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) at Texas A&M to one that emphasizes and encourages teaching innovation and fosters a more inclusive, diverse department of faculty and students. Our specific project is focused on observing teaching teams within the ME department during the academic year. Team members will be involved in observing the teaching teams during their coordination meetings, specifically the content of the meeting, and qualitatively coding the meeting content for different themes that will be specified in our coding scheme. |
