Description:
We would like to further examine what factors go into students’ food choices on campus and the effects of limited nutrient-dense vending machine options on academic performance and mental well-being. This research will permit us to evaluate the purchases of university vending machine clientele and to understand what consumers purchase, their purchase frequency, and purchase motivations. This research will also provide data about college students’ nutritional habits on campus, and what restrictions are present due to budget and time constraints.
