The objective of this project is to compare micromineral supplementation (Cu, Co, Mn, and Zn) in organic or inorganic complexes to beef cows throughout gestation. Variables evaluated will include productive and reproductive responses of offspring, trace mineral status of dams and calves, epigenetic responses of the offspring, female offspring growth and reproductive performance, as well as growth and carcass traits of male and female offspring managed in a feed yard setting.
