To join the program, prospective Neuroscience Research Leaders must
- Be a graduate student or post-doc engaging in Neuroscience research
- Submit the Registration Form and intake survey
- Indicate the number of undergraduates (3-8) to be recruited to form a research team
- Interview and select team members from undergraduate applicants who contact you
- Postdocs and graduate students must obtain approval from their faculty mentor to create a team
To earn certification as a Neuroscience Research Leader
- Participate for at least two semesters
- Conduct weekly meetings with their research team
- Attend monthly Team Leader Meetings
- Complete weekly program evaluations and exit survey
- Document the development of a Best Practice for team leadership
