Team Needs:
Good teamwork and communication, organization and commitment.
Basic Spanish or Portuguese would help (some database are on those languages) but it is not mandatory.
QGIS basic knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
Description:
The main objective of this research is: (1) to reassess the conservation status of Amazon
marmosets, (2) identify priority areas and species for conservation, and (3) to organize a workshop to discuss potential strategies for the biodiversity conservation in the arc of deforestation using Amazon marmosets as flagship species.
Students will help with data collection, bibliography review and the workshop planning. They will participate on the assessments and in the workshop as well.
