Opportunities for university-level poster presentations in Spring 2025 following enthusiastic participation will be offered if interested. The selected student will also be invited to weekly all-member lab meetings.

Please expect training in lab… no previous bench skills are required. The selected student(s) will build their own schedule. To fill this position, you will need to commit 4 consecutive hours per week. Reliable transportation to the Texas A&M Medical Research Education Building is required. The lab is looking for students excited to learn and able to complete benchwork. |

I am a second year Toxicology doctoral student at the Texas A&M College of Medicine. My project plans to identify and explore the functional role of long non-coding RNA expression in the placenta and the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure. The selected student(s) will be trained to conduct qPCR and isolate cDNA/RNA.This project is funded by the lab of Dr. Rajesh Miranda. |
