Description:
Despite support for large-scale implementation of behavioral interventions by experts (market analysts, policy advisors, and behavioral scientists), little is known regarding: (i) how information nudges can support behaviors promoting healthy, sustainable, and equitable (HSE) food systems among consumers, particularly among marginalized populations, whose decision-making is often overlooked; and (ii) whether experts can accurately predict the impact of information nudges and more importantly whether they are willing to invest in improving their predictions. Due to the pressing need to meet global climate targets while addressing nutrition equity, the main research goal of this CAREER is to improve understanding of the effectiveness of information nudges in enhancing HSE behaviors and the accuracy of experts’ predictions of their effectiveness.
