Affiliations: Aggie Research Mentoring Program
Project Leader: Simran Kumar
simrank1202@tamu.edu
Biomedical Sciences
Faculty Mentor: Luke Lyons, Ph.D.
Meeting Times:
TBA
Team Size:
4
Open Spots: 0
Special Opportunities:
Attending research conferences, presenting research posters, a possibility to have a publication and becoming a full member of the research group
Team Needs:
Information gathering skills, determination and ambition, willingness to learn new skills, mathematical skills, proficiency in MS Office or other computer programs, getting along with team members, critical-thinking skills, being kind and helpful to others
Description:
The purpose of this research is to simplify the cardiovascular system dynamics that are extensively explained in various forms of literature through the creation of a computer-based mathematical model. Therefore, students can analyze and communicate the complexities of the heart and blood flow within the body.
