Special Opportunities:
Potential opportunities include co-authorship on multiple peer-reviews journals, conference presentations, opportunities to co-lead webinars for national organizations, and ongoing mentorship from me. I would also love to help you get connected with others in your field and network
Team Needs:
I am looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about research and are willing to learn and grow alongside me. You do not need prior research experience, and I will support you throughout this research journey. I just ask that you are dedicated to this work, aspire to learn more about research, and are committed to this project.
Description:
Young adults with disabilities have much lower post school outcomes than their typically developing peers. I am conducting a training for racially minoritized parents to equip them with resources to plan for their child’s future. Everyone deserves to have meaningful adulthood opportunities. My goal is to ensure that these parents are prepared with the knowledge and advocacy skills to successfully plan for their child’s future after high school.
You will be supporting with collecting and analyzing the data related to the training, which includes both qualitative and quantitative methods. This includes survey data from the training, participant interviews, measurement of fidelity, and other logistics related the training
