Fall 2022: The Effect of Mentorship On Graduate Student Mental Health & Wellness and Attrition Rates into STEM

Special Opportunities:
Members in our team will work under research professors at the doctorate level such as Dr. Quick, Dr. Cisneros, and Dr. McNeely. Members will also gain experience in constructing field notes related to the project through attending research leadership meetings. They will also attend and present Aggie Research Week, and research conferences
Team Needs:
Punctual, dedicated, communicative, flexible, organized and creative. Must attend Th meetings, and complete assigned tasks in a high-quality and timely manner. We require a team-player that will contribute equally to the project by treating all members with respect while able to give constructive criticism
Description:
Our research will focus on assessing the mental health and wellness of graduate students who are involved in the Aggie Research Program to identify if the Aggie Research Program has created an alternative networking and professionalization system to the current STEM pipeline. We seek to identify if ARP can mitigate impacts for marginalized students enrolled in institutions rooted in the dominant frame
