Description:

In light of increasing heat-related deaths of high school athletes, and subsequent legal issues, this project seeks to address policy-related concerns across high school athletic associations in the U.S. Researchers will evaluate policy language, and work to uncover existing climate change understanding to protect young athletes from heat illness. |
