Description:

Along with faculty, the research team will develop surveys to assess educators’ (preservice, in-service, and teacher educators) attitudes, perceptions, and knowledge about African American English (dialect) and languages, such as Spanish. The research team will, also, recruit participants, analyze statistical data, and report findings via conference and journal article submissions. The focus of each data set will include areas of literacy, such as linguistics, spelling, and decoding |
