Team Needs:
Preferred skills: proficiency in R, some knowledge of statistics, an understanding of evolutionary processes,
Necessary skills: You must know how to use excel, have basic computer literacy, and be able to read phylogenetic trees. Importantly, you must have a passion for learning and an unquenchable curiosity
Description:
We aim to understand how North America’s unique climatic and geologic history has shaped pollinator relationships among its orchids. We will explore two central themes: 1) convergent adaptation to harsh temperate climates across native North American orchids, and 2) pollinator discovery Students will not only participate in field work aimed at observing novel pollinator events, but will also learn data driven research methods
