Description:

This project utilizes a maternal, paternal, and dual parental model of alcohol exposure in order to evaluate changes in bone growth during gestation. Using a differential skeletal staining protocol the cartilage and ossified bone of fetal mice are stained blue and red, respectively. Utilizing 2D imaging, the cartilage and ossified bone can be quantified in order to assess alcohol-induced developmental toxicity |
