Team Needs:
We need students to assist with: – various mouse procedures, such as weighing and phenotyping – extracting RNA and performing qPCR – bioinformatics/statistics – measuring immune proteins
Description:
For some individuals, infection by certain viruses can cause neurological symptoms and diseases. We use a mouse model of neurotropic viral infection to study how the genetic background of an individual influences their responses to a viral infection, particularly neurological outcomes
