Fall 2021: Machine learning application to plant based supercapacitors

Special Opportunities:
Students may be put as co-author in leading scientific journal articles. There may be opportunities for conference participation. Students will get high level exposure to graduate level research, scholarship information, career counseling etc from the team
Team Needs:
Prior experience in python coding, willingness to learn advanced algorithms, and technical writing are desired
Description:
We are a very active and dynamic lab group working on next-generation flexible electronics which include supercapacitors, batteries etc. We have successfully worked with undergraduate teams for 5 semesters now. Currently, we are more focused on applying Machine Learning models to plant based supercapacitors and writing research articles.
Project involves coding in python and writing research paper. Background in coding and technical writing is desirable. We meet once every week on Saturdays. Team is highly collaborative, friendly, and helpful. Project requires at least two semester long commitment, dedication, and active involvement. Outperforming students may be co-authors of journal papers
