We are looking for students who are interested in political science and politics of Latin American countries. It would be extremely helpful if the students can read in spanish as the task requires reading of documents in spanish. It is required that students are responsive to communication, organized, and detail-oriented. The project requires work on data gathering, and the software used will be Excel and google sheets. Students are not required to have previous experience with those software. |

This project goal is to construct a database with the composition of government ministers of Latin American countries. By the end of the data collection stage, our goal is to make the data publicly available and to study the main pattern regarding the governments in Latin America. The students will be responsible for searching the government composition, meaning the ministers, the dates they join the portfolios and the parties they represent. |
