Faculty Mentor: Brady Butler, PhD
Meeting Times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays could be perfect, but we can find time that works for everyone

Open Spots: 0
Special Opportunities:
Paper, conference
Team Needs:
Project can benefit from people with physics, math or computer science majors
Description:
There is no definitive answer in material science about bcc slip systems, and tungsten in particular. Based on our own experiments we are trying to solve a mystery of a single crystal tungsten slip geometry. Project includes all tools of a proper research: experiments, characterization, microscopy, mathematical approach, modeling and visualization
