Description:
|
The project seeks to understand the aspects of human robot teaming in an emergency response team. In order for the robot to be a successful team member, the trust in the robot needs to be optimal. Under trust can lead to poor utilization, while over trust can lead to safety issue. We want to understanding human-robot team trust and its impacts on team collaboration and processes; that will be later used to design trust-aware robotic algorithms to support efficient teamwork. Phase I of the project will be carried out in the lab in a simulated environment, where the participants will be equipped with physiological and neural measures such as EEG, fNIRS, ECG, and EDA. Phase II will be carried out in real field setting with the AlienGo quadruped robot |
