We are seeking students familiar with NLP and LLMs. Familiarity with P&ID diagrams is preferred. |
Description:
|
We aim to develop applications that address the challenges of semantic interoperability in construction projects, specifically focusing on Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) used in process plants. P&IDs are critical documents throughout a project’s lifecycle, but interoperability issues often arise due to the variety of software used by different stakeholders. The key objectives of this project are: – Semantic Matching and Translation: Utilizing natural language processing (NLP) to match and translate varying terminology across P&ID software platforms. – Document Generation Leveraging Large Language Model: Leveraging large language models (LLMs) to generate standardized P&ID documents that are interoperable across various P&ID software. |
