Special Opportunities:
This research is a great transcript booster. It is also an opportunity to work a first friday.
Team Needs:
Observant skills and a willingness to be flexible.
Description:
Our research problem is observing how the 400 level students’ approach to teaching with those who come into the booth would affect their understanding of the material and ability to teach it over extended periods of time. Our research problem also investigates what the retention rate of attention towards the booth and knowledge gained would be when presented with different learning styles. Additionally, we will examine the attention span of these children and what the most common learning method is: auditory, visual, or kinesthetic. This can help us determine what would be the most effective way to educate children, particularly in the elementary, intermediate, and middle school setting.
