Examining food access and food deserts in the Bryan-College Station area, as well as its connection to Freedom Colonies. Moreover, examine the mechanisms marginalized communities use to prosper as people and community, and compare mechanisms that were used in freedom colonies that are used today, as well as the newer mechanisms
