Team Needs:

We are looking for highly enthusiastic, determined and reliable candidates who are interested in working in areas such as sport management, sustainability, resource management, among others. Working knowledge of Excel and data entry is required and if you have advanced knowledge of data management and analysis this is advantageous (but not a must). |
Description:
|
Sport and nature exist in a two-way relationship. The environment is constantly shaped by sport event operations and building of new venues, while at the same time, athletes rely on the environment to provide favorable conditions to excercise and achieve personal records. As part of investigating this relationship, in the current study the Sport Sustainability Lab assesses waste management and recovery practices of Division I football venues in the U.S. To do this, we requested data from over 65 NCAA Division I schools and conducted a trendanalysis to obtain preliminary results. In a second round, additional schools will be evaluated. We will investigate industry developments, compare universities and conferences among each other. If you are passionate about resource management and sports, data analysis, and want to gain exposure to research projects, this project is for you! |
