Team Needs:
We are looking for students who are interested in political science and political communication. It is required that students are responsive to communication, organized, and detail-oriented.
The project requires work on data gathering, and the software used will be Excel and google sheets. Students are not required to have previous experience with those software.
Description:
This project aims to investigate the presence of studies of comparative political communication in the major general political science journals from 2015 to 2022. It is a large data collection project that will focus on mapping the frequency political communication papers are published, whether the studies rely on single-country or cross-national studies (and which countries are included), what kind of media outlet the authors focus on and the methodology used. By the end of the data collection effort, we will have a comprehensive understanding of the political communication field.
