The Office of the Provost and the VPR Office have updated COVID-19 policies to reflect state-wide mandates. As such, the university now strongly encourages known best-practices to help mitigate the spread of the virus, including vaccinations, masking, hand washing, and regular testing. The ARP that each ARP participant follow the preventative practices established by rigorous scientific investigation, and to do so for the safety of the community.
As with other ethical and safety compliance requirements, the faculty mentor for each research team (or the team leader if they are a faculty member) is responsible for ensuring compliance with COVID-19 safety policies. Please make sure that the faculty mentor for your project is aware and discuss with them how to shape your research project with ARP to best suit your needs and the safety of everyone involved.
